Tatiana Lisnic

In 2009/10 Tatiana Lisnic alternated with Anna Netrebko singing Adina in L’elisir d’amore at the Opéra Bastille in Paris, a role she also sang this April in Tokyo. During the autumn of 2010 she will make her role debuts as Donna Anna in Lucca, Bergamo and Novara, a role she will be singing in Paris in 2012/13, and Musetta in Sevilla. This internationally sought after soprano is a regular guest at Oper Frankfurt. After singing Mimì in La Bohème, and giving a recital here she returned in 2008/09 for highly successful performances of the title role in a new production of Lucia di Lammermoor, concert performances of The Pearl Fishers and a revival of La Traviata in 2009/10. This artist’s (from Moldavia) career began in Austria where she had a scholarship at the Herbert von Karajan Centre. She was a member of the Ensemble of the Vienna State Opera where, since 2003, she is still a regular guest. Other engagements, under the batons of some of the world’s leading conductors, have taken her to La Scala Milan, Teatro Comunale Firenze, the Théâtre Royal de la Monnaie in Brussels, the Opéra National du Rhin Strasbourg, the Royal Opera House Covent Garden in London, the Staatsoper Unter den Linden Berlin and the Ravenna Festival. Opera companies for whom she has sung Violetta include the Opera in Zurich. S
