Revival.
The Metropolitan Opera is reviving its 2018 production of Saint-Saëns’s Samson et Dalila, directed by Darko Tresnjak. The work features the biblical hero of legendary strength and the captivatingly beautiful Philistine woman, underscored by a powerful orchestra and chorus, as well as some of the most enchanting melodies in French grand opera. This revival boasts a stellar cast, including a duo of mezzo-soprano Aigul Akhmetshina and tenor Clay Hilley, making his New York debut.
The performance on December 5, 2026 will be broadcast in cinemas worldwide as part of The Met: Live in HD program.
