In French, German, Italian and English, dramas, tragedies and happy endings permeate this concert. The humor of Neapolitan comedy, betrayal, social tensions, romantic encounters, desire and the sentimentality of French opera nourish the arias, duets and vocal trios of this evening. Such a diversity of expressions, so linked to the psychology of the characters, runs through the writing of works separated from each other by a century and a half. However, they all demand a common quality from the three artists on stage whose early careers are unanimously praised by critics: a sense of panache!
