Description
Revival.
For its 2025 edition, the Bayreuth Festival is reviving Yuval Sharon's ‘blue’ production of Lohengrin (originally premiered in July 2018), with set design by painter Neo Rauch, revived by Rosa Loy. The production also marks the return of conductor Christian Thielemann to Bayreuth after several years' absence. The production also brings together a high-calibre Wagnerian cast, starting with Piotr Beczała in the title role.
