Revival of Lotte de Beer's production of Les Contes d'Hoffmann, which premiered at the Opéra National du Rhin in January 2025. The director revisits Offenbach's masterpiece and ‘delivers a dizzying plunge into the psyche and fantasies of an artist whose inspiration struggles with his inner demons’. Conductor Pierre Dumoussaud is the musical director of the production.

At the Opéra-Comique, Michael Spyres plays the title role that all tenors dream of. He shares the stage with Amina Edris, who is performing the four main female roles (Stella, Olympia, Antonia and Giulietta) for the first time.
