Marie Lys's First Recital in Beaune

In just a few years, soprano Marie Lys has established herself in the most beautiful roles of the Baroque repertoire. In Florence in 2022, where she replaced Cecilia Bartoli at short notice, her Alcina was a stunning performance. It was about time she came to Beaune! For this recital, conceived with Christophe Rousset, they have chosen two cantatas from the young Handel's Roman period, treasures of sensitivity and passion, veritable operas in miniature.

This concert will be held in the Jacobin Chapel, a magnificent 15th-century monument rarely open to the public.
