New production by the Baugé Opera Festival

George Frideric Handel was so fascinated by the Greek myth of Acis and Galatea that he revisited the subject four times to compose his opera Acis and Galatea. The Baugé Festival draws inspiration from this to bring together "the finest moments from each version, creating a vibrant pastiche that highlights the charm, humor, and darker undertones of the story."

Presented under the title Acis, Galatée et Polyphème, the production promises audiences "a blend of seduction, danger, tenderness, and the uncanny, set to some of Handel’s most inspired music."
