"This fourth edition of the Bordeaux National Opera Academy brings together young emerging artists selected for a year-long residency by the Bordeaux National Opera and several partners to develop a creative project based on a major opera from the repertoire. For several months, these young artists work together in the spirit of a large collaborative workshop to create a free, modern, and whimsical adaptation of Léo Delibes' opera Lakmé."
