The name of Kevin Barz is undoubtedly not unknown to the Nancy public: a few seasons ago, it was this young German director who was responsible for carrying out the first part of the Nancy Opera Xperience. . He then transformed the city into a giant opera, performing lyrical scenes under bus stops, at the Museum of Fine Arts, in a bowling alley or a laundromat. He returns with this no less original project. Taking up Haydn's oratorio to challenge the creationists, he rereads Genesis through the prism of our current knowledge of the history of the universe since the Big Bang: with light as a common thread, he outlines a salutary reflection, at a time when the fight against fake news is becoming an everyday sport.
